Makrotest have available a full range of techniques for both Qualitative and Quantitative business-to-business and social research, both within the UK and internationally.
The techniques that we use include:
In-depth personal interiewing
This work is usually carried out by Makrotest’s experienced research consultants who are able to carry out in-depth work on a wide range of topics and probe issues in depth. Where relevant, consultants will have sufficient technical or product knowledge to be able to probe issues in considerable depth.
Group discussions
Makrotest have considerable experience of both business-to-business and consumer/social group discussions. We are able to recruit respondents with specific characteristics and can carry out groups either in interviewers’ homes or in meeting rooms, hotels or specialised facilities.
Semi-structured personal and telephone interviewing
Makrotest are able to carry out the full range of standard market research interviews, either personally or by telephone, using specialised interviewers – all of whom have been fully trained and briefed.
Postal / self-completion questionnaires
Makrotest have particular experience of designing postal and self-completion questionnaires for a wide variety of audiences. This can include both employees and customers/non-customers for a wide range of customer satisfaction studies.
ANALYSIS
Makrotest have a specialised in-house coding and analysis team and is able to code and analyse data to a very high standard. We also have available a wide range of analysis and segmentation techniques including a trade-off and pricing analysis using a ‘SIMULTO’ type approach.
